User registration is a new option offered by Heavens-Above, which we encourage all
our visitors to take advantage of. It is free of charge,
confidential, and registered users can access a number of advanced new features
with many more to come.
Of course, if you choose not to register, all the familiar features will still
be available to you as an anonymous user. You can click

- You can define several observing sites and the coordinates and time
zones will be retrieved from our database each time you logon. So if you have several
places from which you regularly observe, you don't have to keep re-entering the
coordinates when travelling from one to the other. Also, if you want to set-up a temporary site
for your holiday destination, you don't have to delete your home site to do so.
Any information you enter will be treated strictly confidentially, and we will not pass on
any personal information to third parties. It is not even necessary to enter
personal information to register, just choose a user name and password which can be
anything you wish.
Registration requires cookies to be enabled on your browser, which is usually the
default setting. If you choose not to enable cookies, you must use Heavens-Above
as an anonymous user.

can help the amateur satellite observer community to keep track of satellites for which
orbital data is not available from NASA.
